Brentfield Medical Centre

We are a busy GP practice based in North West London (5mins from Wembley stadium) caring for 10,000 patients with a diverse range of inner city problems. We have been working with US PA s for the past 3 years and have hosted students from Philadelphia University. The PA role as been a valuable feature of developing skill mix in the practice team and wish to employ a second PA with experience in family medicine / ER to further extend the role.

Our current PA joined us in October last year and is working in our same day service the addition of a second PA will allow a combination of acute care and chronic disease management. Salary: £42,500 - £45,000 (depending on experience).

Kingsway Health Centre – Luton

Physician Assistant - Family Practice (link to the job description/person specification)

Pay between £29,091 - £38,352 pa pro rata (depending on qualifications and experience). Initial 18 month contract.

Kingsway is a brand new, state-of-the-art health centre, which will provide extended GP services for approximately 4,000 patients in Luton.

As an important member of our team, the Physician Assistant will participate in all treatment and preventative health care services in the practice. You will provide direct clinical care to patients and educate patients in preventative health care. In addition, you will be encouraged to develop a special interest and to assist in clinical instruction and supervision of medical and nursing students.

You will be a graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant training program, and certified/re-accredited by the National Commission of Certification for Physician Assistants. A relevant Master’s degree and membership of AAPA would be an advantage.

Amber Reece, PA-C

I am a licensed and NCCPA certified Physician Assistant trained in the United States. I have lived in England for over a year now and am interested in pursuing my career here in the Cheshire/Greater Manchester/Liverpool area.

I have nine years experience practicing in the US in Cardiology and General Medicine both in private practice as well as large hospital systems such as MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. I am interested in a position that would utilise my skills in GP, Cardiology, or A&E. However, I would consider other specialties given proper training.

I am adept at working with computers and have experience in most Microsoft Windows based applications and have utilised electronic medical records systems in the past as well. I can provide my CV along with excellent references and am available to start immediately.

Experienced Physician Assistant seeking position in the UK, particularly in the North West (Cheshire or Manchester area).

I am an EU and US Citizen with 7 years experience in General Medicine and Cardiology both in a large New York City hospital and private practice. Would consider working in other areas of medicine if provided proper training. I have computer experience and used electronic medical records for 4 years now.
